Worktrade opportunities

Hi folks! Please read all details before applying!

We are currently accepting applications for both kitchen and camp worktrade.

We would love to build a solid worktrade crew with the shared vision of creating a beautiful and enjoyable experience for everyone. “Worktrade” is exactly what is sounds, a trade for work and your work duties may interfere with some class opportunities. Yes, you will be able to take classes but might also have to miss out on some classes. If you are not ok with this then worktrade is not for you.

We require a $30 deposit for all worktrade positions except the “kitchen-serving” position.

This deposit is only refunded after the end of the event and trade is complete.

After filling out this application and getting pre-approved for a position you can pay this deposit on the registration page “worktrade deposit”

Read below for details on each position:

There are 4 options for worktrade … All are separate jobs that equal a full trade for registration except serving which is a 30% off the registration fee

⚫Camp set-up and take down (approx 12 hours)

⚫Kitchen-dishes (approx 12 hours)

⚫Kitchen- prepping/cooking (approx 12 hours)

⚫Kitchen- serving (30% off registration, approx 6 hours)

"Camp" includes...... set up/take down of structures, checking camp water, gathering firewood, moving firewood, possible digging, moving branches and rocks, checking porta johns, restocking porta johns, as well as being adaptable to other needs that may evolve for the camp. Camp worktrade must be able to arrive by Friday, July 31, by 12 noon 

“Kitchen- prepping/cooking” duties include: adhering to a schedule, showing up on time, prepping food, boiling water, tending fires, organizing food, dutch oven cooking, setting up camp dishwashing station and being adaptable to other needs that may evolve for the kitchen,

Kitchen worktrade must arrive Saturday, August 1 by 12 noon

“Kitchen- dishwashing” duties include: adhering to a schedule, showing up on time, moving/heating water, washing/scrubbing kitchen dishes, and dutch ovens.

Kitchen worktrade must arrive Saturday, August 1 by 12 noon

“Kitchen- serving” duties include: adhering to a schedule, showing up on time, helping move food to tables, writing menu, serving food

Kitchen worktrade must arrive Saturday, August 1 by 12 noon

All worktrade ends Saturday (August 8) but you are welcome to stay through Sunday August 9 (or longer with special permission)
